Vamps street teams on the loose!

Adry.g.c / Larkgirl

Larukupop

A new virus is spreading out and it’s covering the entire world, “VAMPS” new project is making news after the great acceptance of their first single.

In December 2007 singer hyde announced a new solo project without giving any details before starting the “Theather of Kiss” tour with Jrock band L’Arc~en~ciel, which caused commotion and doubts within the fans, questioning if hyde was going to leave the band or not.

In March 2008 an official My Space announced his new project “Vamps” with musician KAZ known for his work in “Oblivion Dust” and “Spin Aqua”. The questioning of hyde remaining in L’Arc~en~ ciel is still on but with the promise of a new live in 2011 true fans still believe that laruku will go on with all its members.
VAMP’S My Space team

After releasing the official VAMP’S My Space a new character was starting to be noticed, “J” the My Space administrator started a new project called “Street team”, giving the opportunity to fans from all over the world to meet. (“J” also has his own Street team made by Chilean fans).

At the moment there are more than 20 Street teams register, (And it’s still going), surprisingly the space site got enormously popular and it’s only like 4 months old.
Mexican Street team in movement

There are many Street teams since “J” released the project, but one drove our attention, the “Mexican Street team”, and it’s because their intention is not just to promote the VAMPS music but to make a solid community.

Ogawa Kazuhiro, (Nick name) the responsible of “VAMPS Mexican street team ” explained: “this team was created to expand Hyde’s and KAZ’s music through the internet, but also we want to make big events so we can promote their music in our country and why not to bring more Japanese bands. That’s why we don’t want the name “Street” to remain only as a name; we want to make a community”.

The goal of this Street team is to be recognized as a solid organization and have presence in the world as an official fan club to promote VAMPS to those who don’t know about Japanese music.

“J’s” Street team

It seems that VAMPS are not the only ones who are getting recognition in the official My Space, “J” the administrator of VAMPS Official My Space has captures some fan’s hearts on the way. A group of Chilean fans created “J’s Street team” to honor the mysterious character who posts all VAMPS news. It seems that Hyde and KAZ are not the only charmers.

In this particular my space you can find some crazy stuff about what fans think about “J” and most of all how to Spread the “J” Love.

I like Hyde solo music, his style is a bit different from L’Arc~en~ciel, more rock, more hard.
